Hotelier Jason Pomeranc, obviously supercharged by the progress at his towering Allen Street Spatel on the Lower East Side, and the imminent opening of 6 Columbus, cannot stop. Down in Tribeca, on West Broadway at Chambers, he's revamping an old Holiday Inn into something called Smyth, a combo hotel/residence/thing. Downstairs (metaphor, people, metaphor), there's to be a 100-room Thompson hotel. Upstairs, "fifteen ultra-stylish apartments," one of which, from the S line, you're looking at above. Stribling's got the listings, which range from a 477 square foot 1BR for $1.1 million (no comment) to the 1,728 square foot penthouse for $4.8 million. The joint seen above is asking $3.35 million. When this little baby will be ready for occupancy is anyone's guess; over/under is hereby set for early May, 2011. Oh, and for porn of the non-floorplan variety, the official website does not disappoint.
