Celebrity Real Estate Wrap: Cruisin' the Dakota?

1) The big rumor around the Internets last week was that Tom Cruise was moving into the Dakota, trying to get board approval at the Dakota, or completely oblivious to the Dakota. It seemed to end with TomKat maybe showing interest in Leonard Bernstein's old pad, floorplanned above. It's listed at $25.5 million. [Gawker]

2) It turns out that Jon Bon Jovi didn't spend all his money on hairspray and unicorns. The Jersey icon is in negotiations to buy a six-bedroom penthouse duplex in Soho's New Museum building, an apartment listed for a whopping $26.5 million. Pour some sugar on that! (Sorry.) Check out the pics, they're completely ridic. JBJ is currently trying to rent out his seven-room Upper West Side apartment in the Park Millenium Tower for $30,000/month. [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]

3) Do you know who the biggest Richard Meier fan in the world is? Hint: It's Alexis Stewart. Martha's daughter already owns a three-unit spread in Meier's 165 Charles, and now she just bought up the entire 15th floor, two apartments that cost her a combined $16 million. She bought the 15th floor from art-mag queen bee Louise MacBain. Mama Stewart bought into Meier's Perry Street way back when. [Max Abelson/Manhattan Transfers]
