The design for the radical remake of the New York Aquarium in Coney Island has been selected. The New York Sun reports that the design created by Philadelphia-based Wallace, Roberts & Todd aka WRT, and Barcelona-based Cloud 9, the one that kind of looks like a big whale with a lot of lights, is the winner. There's a vid of the design posted over at YouTube if the renderings and drawings aren't enough. No construction timetable set.
