Yesterday we had Magic Johnson's investment in the big project at 110 Green Street in Greenpoint, which has had an issue here and there related to a crappy fence and the like. We suggested that Magic's touch would make it a model project. Yesterday afternoon, workers started erecting big poles and putting up what looks like it will be the Mother of All Fences around the site. Coincidence, undoubtedly. The photo of what looks like it will become a two-story fence comes from a special friend who writes, "The worker bees are very busy poking and prodding their new poles." Yeah, it's only a fence, but it's partly Magic Johnson's Greenpoint Fence.
