11 Spring Street Update: Getting Buffed

Please note the red brick patch in the center of the above image. That's the natural surface underneath decades worth of wheatpaper, paint, and miscellaneous street art at Nolita's famed 11 Spring Street. What's that mean? That the inevitable buffing of the building, a step on the road towards condoification, has begun. Any remaining photobloggers who have somehow failed to document the facade for posterity are advised to rush to the scene immediately.
