Curbed Roundtable: April State o' the Market Report

A new month brings renewal—and of course our regularly scheduled roundtable discussion on the state of the residential market in Manhattan and beyond. It's been a giddy first quarter, to be sure, as captured by the folks at the Luxury Letter, who emailed us earlier today: "The FIRST QUARTER figures are in, and contrary to all predictions, the market has broken all records: Inventory has dropped and activity levels are at all time highs.....even the eternally optimistic brokerage community seems pleasantly surprised."

So much giddiness, so little time! For those in the market, we once again turn to you: hype or reality? Bonus points for specifics about your search.
