Curbed PriceSpotter Big Reveal: Brooklyn Double Heights

PriceSpotter is our weekly development game in which we give you the details on a for-sale apartment and you Google your brains out to come up with a listing price. We kid. Nobody cheats at PriceSpotter. The risk is just too great. The big reveal tomorrow. Until then, have at it in the comments.

Listing: Listing: 62 Joralemon Street [Corcoran]
Asking: $2.3 million
We accidentally started a debate yesterday about great rooms?whether they have skylights and wood-burning fireplaces and the like. As always, we defer to Wikipedia: "Great Rooms also tend to be voluminous, often having 2-stories ceiling with open upstairs halls (skywalks) overlooking the Great Room." No mention of WBFPs. Not sure exactly how this played in the bidding this week, but estimates tended toward the high side. Says "Patty Dook," "There's a charming High Country Deco going on here - guitar, stove, country kitchen table, grandfather clock and some kind of Lincoln-esque portrait - but the copious amount of spot lighting is more than a country girl can stand." Gold star to Steve, who nailed the asking (investigation pending).
