Looks Good, Right?: Listed by Bond New York broker Nelson Cabassa (who we've had an interesting history with), this huge apartment (which has an interesting history of its own) is a $40 million penthouse!!! But it's yours for only $25,000 per month.
The Catch: While not as scandalous or outrageous as our inaugural Catch, this email still made us totally LOL: "$25,000K rental with $250 kitchen. Apparently it’s a 40 million dollar apartment, a steal at 25K per month. But the kitchen is of the type normally found in a low-end renovation in the back end of Fort Greene. Can anyone explain the incongruity? Perhaps it’s a kitchen for the servants?" There is a "stainless steel sub zero" kitchen mentioned in the listing, so maybe this one is for the help, making it a curious photo choice. Still, anything for a good Fort Greene diss.
