Enrique Norten Can't Play with Frank Gehry on Flatbush Ave.

Looks like that big glass arts library that Enrique Norten designed for a triangular parcel of land near Frank Gehry's Miss Brooklyn isn't going to float. In fact, the New York Times says that it "seems likely to sink, unrealized, into the pavement." Which, we think, means it ain't happening. There is still "a continued commitment to build on the site and have some component be a library" as part of the BAM Cultural District, though. Cause of death: $135 million price tag and no money.
