WTC Chaos Update: Dear God, Something's Ahead of Sked

LowerManhattan.info tends towards the peppy when it comes to downtown rebuilding news, but even with our propaganda filters turned on, this recent update turned our head:

Port Authority crews are making steady progress building the World Trade Center site's east bathtub. Finishing two weeks ahead of schedule, crews have now completed installation of the new slurry wall at the southeast section of the bathtub (along Liberty and Church Streets up to Cortlandt Street). The East Bathtub, of course, is to play home to towers two, three, and four, any of which may be built at some indeterminate future date, or never. Still, rest assured: the bathtub will be ready!
