In a move that's sure to make the (hypothetical!) purchasers of architect Santiago Calatrava's Tower O' Penthouses weep with shame and inferiority, India's richest man has announced plans to build his own 60-story residential skyscraper in Mumbai—for just his family. Per the Daily Mail, the 'scraper will have all the amenities one might expect at an Andre Balasz new development—health club, helipad, hanging gardens, and six floors of car parking—plus room for the 600-person live-in staff. "The building, already worth £500 million, could start a rush on skyscrapers," notes the Mail. God, we hope so.
