The 'Wire's been quiet lately, but we've got a feeling that's about to change this week. Got gossip, rumor, or innuendo? Do let us know.
NOHO—A tipster reports, "I just spoke with a construction worker at 40 bond and he told me Ricky Martin is moving into unit 2H. I don't know if that's the kind of information you're looking for but I thought it was amusing." This news was actually confirmed by the Post's Braden Keil last month, but hey, our obsession with 40 Bond continues. [CurbedWire Inbox]
HARLEM—The Lenox Grand, once so far ahead of the curve, has apparently come up lame in the race to the finish. A tiptser lets us know, "Closing was set to be June but developer said no way, will be July 11th. Then will be couple dozen more honkeys in Harlem." [CurbedWire Inbox]
GRAMERCY—In the aftermath of the Shvo/Starck launch party, a reader checks in with news from the Gramercy By Starck sales office: "Upon visiting the Gramercy Starck building, I decided on to go through with an apartment after being told by the sales agent, first, that all the south facing apartments were sold on the first day that the building opened that there was no chance of getting one. Thought it was a little strange that half the apartments, all on one side of the building, happened to all sell on a single day. Then the sales agent later said that there were issues with the south side of the building in which they messed up the square footage. So, there still haven't been any listed for sale. My question is, what else are they covering up and why aren't they listing any of them." [CurbedWire Inbox]
