40 Bondage: Peeking In From the Back

While the artistic graffiti gates of architects Herzog & de Meuron continue to rise at Ian Schrager's 40 Bond (check the Curbed Photo Pool for the latest), a tipster gives us the first peek we've seen of the back side of the spiffy new development. If we're situating this correctly, the glass fronts at the bottom level include sliding doors that will open to the individual courtyards out back. Presumably, the window frequented by our tipster here will be bricked up before any of the power-players move in.
