Williamsburg Building Gets Its Crowning Touches

We've been watching the outlines of the building rising at 165 N. 10th Street in Williamsburg just off Bedford Avenue, wondering if it could possibly look like its rendering. We still don't know, but what we can say based on this photo sent our way by a special Williamsburg correspondent, as the building gets its 'crowning touches' today, is that there's a very, very good chance that it will. The heart begins to fill with joy, no? Another reader who sent the photo you'll find after the jump (and noted that people were dining outside while a crane was lifting building parts), called it a "Williamsburg Toilet." On the other hand, it's behind the Lucent Condo, produced by the same architect, Gene Kaufman, and it didn't turn out quite as badly as its rendering would have indicated.
