A Curbed tipster pointed our attention in the direction Boymelgreen Developers 75 Smith Street, aka Luxe + Pop, noting that it may be one of the slowest building projects in Brooklyn. (We can think of others, like the Finger Building in Williamsburg, but it has other issues.) Our tipster writes:
I walked by The Smith last night and couldn't believe my eyes. It is so not done. What gives on that building? As a building it seems to be fighting progress and want to go back to becoming the vacant lot it always was.To illustrate, we've included the photos above. It's worth noting that two more very tall buildings Island City have gone up and are amost ready for occupancy in the time 75 Smith has been underway. Hope none of the buyers needed to move in on a schedule.
