Is "groovy" a good real estate word or bad? The new-ish Ditmas Park Blog from Room Eight's Ben Smith and his wife Liena has noted the description of Cortelyou Road as "groovy." Like in "groovy Cortelyou Road." He writes:
Now, in the vocabulary of New York Real Estate, groovy's pretty near the bottom of the pile. In other words, as another real estate agent and I worked out a little while ago:
Groovy=buy
Stylish=sell
Semi-relatedly, my other personal theory real estate along these lines:
Dirty bomb=buy
Nuclear detonation=sellGroovy.
