The South Slope has been unusually quiet on the controversy front the last few months, probably because some of the most controversial buildings have either gone up or have been stopped. Anyway, we haven't looked since winter, and that's My Suite Sixteen, above, at 198-210 16th Street, about which there are likely to be some opinions. It's a Karl Fischer, the architect best known for his Williamsburg work.

Here's a new building going up at 556 Fifth Avenue, between 15th and 16th Streets. It will have five stories and eight apartments.
