If you've been down Hope Street in Williamsburg lately--it's in a corner of the neighborhood between the BQE and Roebling Street south of Metropolitan Avenue--you've possibly noticed that a significant part of two blocks is under development. The image above is 99 Havemeyer, which is at the corner of Hope and Havemeyer. It's next to 53 Hope Street, an old industrial building being converted to 92 condos and that sold for $26.1 million in August. Across Havemeyer, you've got 14 Hope Street, which will weigh in at five stories with 23 apartments and, if you're still not satisfied, 27 and 29 Hope Street, each of which will be four stories with eight apartments apiece. None of this counts what's going on a block away on Metropolitan Avenue or anything we might have missed.
