Lowdown: Yesterday we checked in with the 124th Street hotel project in Harlem, which, by the way, will most likely be one of W's Aloft hotels (the same as in Williamsburg). Today we head east on that block to Third Avenue, and the twin condo buildings known as The Bridges NYC. Curious doings happening here, with a sub-$700/sf average and a pitch to people who aren't usually around ("Fastest access to LaGuardia and JFK for professionals who use air travel regularly"). The north building has a 24-hour flesh-and-blood doorman, while the south building has the virtual kind. Favorite perk by far: master bathrooms include flatscreen TVs. Retail megabroker Faith Consolo is currently trying to find business tenants for the ground floor spaces, but until then, join us in the tub for some SportsCenter?
