It is a truth universally acknowledged that we're fans both of rooftop retreats and buildings built on top of other buildings. So here's a little something, sent along by an Upper West Side tipster who writes, "Check out this photo—do you know what gives?
Looks like some baby boomer from Ohio is gonna land themselves a nice little home on top of the old pre-war apartment building on 97th and Broadway. Not sure why they had to blow a hole into the top floor of the walk-up building next door." Anyone know more about this little adventure in rooftoppery?
