If you've looked at Bayard Street and Karl Fischer Row, you know the Beauty Addiction Building. The locally famous "hold-out building" between 20 Bayard and The Lotus is the one surviving original structure on the street. It proclaimed its presence via a banner of a syringe that said "Beauty Addiction." Well, after a false start, Beauty Addiction is being dismantled and tossed into a dumpster. It's hard to say what's happening, though, as the property doesn't appear to have changed hands. Great site for a Karl Fischer sliver building, though.
