Fresh from the Ask Curbed inbox, a query about the perils of buying too close to the sun. To wit,
I am thinking of buying a newly developed apt - but its on top floor and under the cooling unit and fans on the roof -- no potential purchasers have been allowed to see the raw space (only can view model apt on lower floor)- but my sound engineer has asked to see the cooling unit on the roof to determine if it will cause a sound problem -- the sales people are indicating this will not be allowed -- is this reasonable? Anyone familiar with this type of problem?Your best shot in the comments, please.
