Following on the heels of reports that restaurateur Danny Meyer plans an eatery for Jean Nouvel's 100 Eleventh Avenue in Chelsea, and chef Daniel Boulud's goal to open an upscale burger joint in the Avalon Bowery Place rental building in Noho, Sacco is reportedly teaming with Stephen Starr, the man behind Meatpacking behemoths Morimoto and Buddakan, to open a steakhouse in District with the name, er, District. Our colleagues at Eater, which broke the story, whisper an extra piece of intel to us: that the "non-traditional" steakhouse will cater rooftop parties for residents. Feeling it?
