Bartha Townhouse Update: Now With Couture Flipping!

There are many things to admire about Janna Bullock, the Upper East Side's most upscale property flipper. For her first flip, in 2005, she paid $9.5 million for an East 64th Street townhouse, invested $1 million, and sold it 11 months later for $18.75 million. Not bad. And yet not even remotely as awesome as posing for a New York Times photographer in the denuded lot of the exploded Dr. Bartha townhouse (right), a property that, by the way, she bought for $8.3 million and plans to sell for $30 to $40 million, once the "modernist-style house with a green roof and an underground pool, designed by Preston T. Phillips," is complete.
