Hey, it's Friday afternoon. Time to check in with our sandy friends at Curbed's Hamptons blog, The Beach...
1) It's all about big boats in Sag Harbor this weekend. First, we've got the Moet & Chandon yacht pulling in, and then, at Russell Simmon's Art for Life benefit, Prudential chairman Howard Lorber auctions off a sunset dinner for eight aboard his 100 foot yacht, Useless, which is docked in the harbor.
2) Restaurant check: Townline BBQ is open and approaching porkfection. And Nobu has announced the next weekend they'll be serving up sushi at their pop-up East End Outpost.
3) VH1 heads to the Hamptons, as the "Fabulous Life of..." series breaks down the South Fork into three categories: real estate, parties at mansions, and parties at clubs. Precious.
