Curbed Photo Pool contributor malarchie laid a photo of the Sohmer & Co. Piano Factory Building on us recently and it's as good a reason as any to note the that the 121-year old structure is getting a major tuning. The building, which is next to the Socrates Sculpture Park on the East River, was landmarked back in March (against the wishes of the local community board) and is being converted to 70 condos. Completion to be determined.
