Seaport #1: Front Street Seaport Sweetness

A friend of ours calls the South Street Seaport area "Little Boston," a moniker which feels appropriate for this new-to-market listing that has us rather smitten. Interesting situation here at this pre-(Revolutionary?) war townhouse: the third floor is for sale, with an asking of $2.2 million. You're buying a large loft apartment with some pretty sweet details (above right), and an attached studio apartment that can be combined into a single living space totaling 2,300 square feet. Additionally, purchase includes a one-third share in the LLC that owns the building. No shots out the windows, but the brokerbabble promises sweet Brooklyn Bridge views; as for the brokers' take on the neighborhood, "This is a downtown different than any other neighborhood."
