We were expecting to find cheaper in Staten Island, but, frankly, we're a little amazed at the price tag on this 3-bed, 1.5-bath co-op. Our long-lost friends at Foxtons are asking $125,000, which runs to about $77 per square foot. Granted, there's not much going on inside, but it's no pit either. You'll recall that no-photo studios in Inwood are going for more than $400 psf. In any case, this unit is in some sort of gated community, close to the ferry, as far as we can tell. We missing anything here or is the old SI discount really that deep?
