All hands on deck, please, as we try to figure this one out. We thought we had a rare lower East Village townhouse on our hands here, just west of First Avenue on Second Street, but the brokerbabble set us straight: "Like a townhouse—except wider—this grand 4053 square foot condo triplex has loft dimensions with a townhouse feel." The floorplan's certainly got a townhousey vibe about it—note the two separate outdoor spaces, and the basement-ish apartment has its own street entry. (The workout equipment is a nice touch.) The property came on the market earlier this summer priced at $4.2 million, where it still sits. Fair or foul?
