On the Racked: Coach's Colorful Bleecker Street Arrival

And now, the latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) West Village: The epic retail revolution on Bleecker Street is hereby chronicled in glorious detail, and includes two new pieces of news. Above, we see the colorful signage that Coach is using to announce its infiltration of no. 372-374—the late-lamented home of beloved antiques shop Clary & Co. And there are rumors swirling about men's store L'uomo that fans of that store will not want to read.

2) Times Square: It's no laughing matter as The Funny Store, whose Times Square building on 43rd and Broadway has been sold to a condo developer, closes for the last time. There's also carnage of note in Park Slope and on the Upper West Side.

3) Lower East Side: Hey, remember Pong, the ping-pong place? Tourney time!
