Above, the pit at the World Trade Center site, as photographed this week. Pay attention to the red arrow, for it seems that there's some sort of structure that's risen above grade. It's sort of close to where the Freedom Tower foundation is being sunk, yet there's no way steel is rising for David Childs' greatest creation just yet. Temporary commodes, perhaps?
