As a small counterpoint of sorts to last week's post chronicling the denuding of foliage in Queens, take a gander at the outdoor space seen in the photo above. It's the area behind an apartment in the South Slope where blogger Food of the Future set out this spring to create a lush green garden. Did they succeed?
