Continuing our investigation of all things Clinton Hill this week, we note that the folks at the Hollenback Community Garden on Washington Avenue in neighborhood have been doing their part to contribute to the green movement. In fact, they've figured out a way for even the laziest neighbors to contribute: a composting toilet. Back in June, the garden coordinator emailed out a solicitation for help installing the toilet:
Even if you can't make it, after the digging, the installing, and building of a structure to house the unit, we will have an unveiling ceremony, where community members will be able to contribute in other ways.No word yet on how many contributions have been made.
