The Soho Alliance's legal challenge to the Trump Soho condo-hotel seems to have fizzled out. Braden Keil reports that the Department of Building's general counsel has shrugged off the two main arguments: that the 46-story building violates the area's zoning, and that since the units have been advertised as "investments," the SEC should review the offering plan. Phew, now that that's over with, we can start planning how we're going to spend those 120 days per year! And no, we wouldn't even think of spending any more than 29 out of 36 consecutive days there. Meanwhile, the hole has grown to 11 stories. Not quite Ivanka height, but getting close.
