If you've been wondering what the new movie theater on that hotbed of development known as Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg will look like when it's finished, here you go. In case you've forgotten, it'll be a three-screen indie movie house, with a restaurant on the ground floor and nine apartments on three floors above. The architectural firm that designed it, Caliper Studio, says "The new zinc facade has a natural patina and an irregular array of cast glass disks illuminated from behind with LED lights." We can't wait to see with our own eyes. In the meantime, we're particularly captivated by the rendering on the right of the lobby.
