For those who stress over the future of privately-owned public spaces in this fair city, a new warning flag has gone up. David Dunlap writes on City Room that the Milstein-developed public space at 30 Lincoln Plaza is getting tweaked, but no one is quite sure what changes will be made to this fine collection of red brick and waterfalls (Est. 1978). All Dunlap could get out of a Milstein rep was this: "We are in the middle of addressing a number of exciting renovation options for the public plaza." If there's one thing we know, it's that the Milsteins aren't afraid of exciting renovation options at 30 Lincoln Plaza. Seriously, dudes: hands off those waterfalls.
