On the Racked: Nolita Gets Sexed Up, Racked Surveys Readers

And now, the latest from Racked, covering retail and shopping from the sidewalks up.

1) Nolita: Racked reports that "Some sort of strange French underwear/lingerie brand is opening" at 252 Elizabeth between Houston and Prince. The ad, as can be seen, features "Pull-In Underwear."

2) Everywhere: Help Racked out and take the first-ever Racked Reader Survey. A randomly selected survey participant will win $250, so what are you waiting for?

3) Chelsea: Turning to the book business, the Barnes & Noble at 675 Sixth Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets is being closed. (This is not to be confused with the Astor Place Barnes & Noble that is closing.) The 41,700-square-foot space on Sixth Avenue is available for rent.

4) Brooklyn: Brace for the Ricky's Brooklyn invasion. The beauty supply and gag-gift shop Ricky's "seems to have just discovered" the borough. It recently opened on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights and it looking at three more neighborhoods including Park Slope and Williamsburg.
