We've noted this building at 165 N. 10th Street in Williamsburg several times, mostly because of its scary oddly compelling rendering. Also, a tipster called it a "Williamsburg Toilet" a while back. The toilet, so-called, is starting to look more like a big fish tank with smoked glass and a handle on top, though, as can be seen in the photo above. It's the work of architect Gene Kaufman, who also designed The Lucent, which is located behind this building, on N. 11th Street. The Lucent, which overlooks a parking lot, is apparently sold out. It looks like the new N. 10th building will be an excellent spot for both voyeurs and exhibitionists. More when the crowning touch on top is finished.
