Open House Report: 'Pretty Nice' at 1BBP

A special Curbed correspondent did a One Brooklyn Bridge Park drop by and reported back with photos and a description of the apartments as "pretty nice," although BQE-facing units definitely allow for car noise when the windows are open. Choices, as you may recall, vary from two-to-five bedroom duplex townhouses fronting the harbor, apartment spaces, penthouses and--our favorite--garden lofts. Our correspondent reports:

Stopped in to One Brooklyn Bridge Park on my way to the barge pool this weekend for a walk through. The broker said that 25% of the building was sold. We looked at a studio (with an "office" that would be your bedroom) and a two bedroom. Both were pretty nice. The photo of the unfinished interior of the building shows a space at the center which will be used for some type of rec room (each floor will have its own, and each will be diff -- pool table, game room, etc). Model apts were on the 7th floor; when you cracked the windows of the one that faced the BQE, you could def hear the cars.Studios start around $550K and prices go up to $4.45 million for penthouses. Now, as for that new gray paint job. · Development Du Jour: One Brooklyn Bridge Park [Curbed]
