We go across the Hudson River for this tantalizing stadium architecture porn. It's the design for the new Meadowlands Stadium that was unveiled this morning at the official groundbreaking. The $1.3 billion Giants/Jets stadium is slated to open in 2010 and will seat 82,000. It will have a skin of "aluminum louvers" and interior lighting that's going to change colors depending on who's playing. And there's more personalization: the louvers are in layers and can reflect the team colors, big pylons will show videos of the team that's playing and a "Great Wall" 400 feet long and 40 feet high that show photo murals. Oh, and that's a rail line and station outside the stadium. Can't wait for the Great Wall of Jersey, though.
