One particular Brooklyn architect may get all the headlines, but another one is designing buildings left and right in neighborhoods like Williamsburg and staying under the controversy radar. If you've looked up near McCarren Park recently, you might have said, "What is that thing on top of that building?" Well, it's the six-story addition atop The Ikon, which has been a steel skeleton for a long time and is finally getting its skin. The Ikon, of course, anchors the north end of Karl Fischer Row on Bayard Street next to the park.
