The last time we looked at the Greenbelt, an eight-unit condo on Manhattan Avenue east of the BQE, it was just taking shape. Now, the LEED-certified building, which comes with green amenities and a Center for Performance Research at Greenbelt on the ground floor, is headed for a sales push in late February. There will be a "Green Drinks" meet up, a "Home of the Future" open house and an "expert panel on green living." It sounds so sincere in a futurama and selling a green building kind of way, that it almost feels wrong to note that it will cost up to $920K in real green to be so figuratively green.
