The controversial development at 340 Court Street in Carroll Gardens has had its share of controversy. First, there were concerns that the developer, the Clarett Group, would put up a 21-story building on the property. After they opted for seven stories, the neighbors set up a new block association and blog. Today, we've got one those compelling inflatable rats. Turns out they're using non-union labor to remove asbestos from the building, which belonged to...the International Longshoreman's Association once upon a time.
