Tuesday Townhouse #2: Swimmingly on West 15th

New, 11 comments

Hey, it's a new Curbed feature: the Tuesday Townhouse, in which our gaze is turned on new-to-market townhouse listings. Following our Gold Coast tour earlier this afternoon, our attention shifts to Chelsea.

"This house is so unique that it was titled 'House of the Millennium' and shown on NY 1 as one of the most desired luxury items of the year," reads the broker babble for this West 15th Street townhouse that hit the market last week. House of the millennium, you say? Well, it does have its very own swimming pool and a double-height solarium, per the floorplan. They're otherwise stingy with interior shots, though, and there's a mere six fireplaces to warm yourself by. Still, the pool's gotta be worth the $11.5 million asking all by itself, right?
