On the Racked: Bland on Bleecker, H&M Billboard Reveal, A.P.C.'s Outlet, Will Pigs Fly in LIC?

And now, the latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) West Village: Record more progress in Bleecker Street's unrelenting march to being more corporate and bland. L'Uomo is becoming Ralph Lauren.

2) Soho: The new H&M billboard on Houston has been revealed.

3) Williamsburg: The recently-opened A.P.C. Surplus at the foot of Grand Street could well be the nicest "outlet" we've ever seen, but it's certainly small for the time being.

4) Long Island City: Is it possible that this grocery-starved place with a growing population will also be getting a Fairway? That's the tantalizing rumor.
