We started the week in Chelsea, migrated east to Gramercy, and now we're nudging the $729,000 train north to 35th Street. While those previous two apartments were both duplexes, this one involves less calf strength, with just a step-down living room to negotiate. It's a pre-war co-op, but with modern touches, such as a newly renovated "all-stainless windowed kitchen" with "full-size appliances." Our dorm-size microfridge just shed a tear.
