It's no surprise that a whole bunch of people have spent time figuring out ways to get rid of the BQE and Gowanus Expressway. Yesterday's post about the proposal to replace a big stretch of the elevated Gowanus with a suspended roadway and to build a greenway in its place led to another post about a proposal to turn the depressed segment of the road into a canal. And, now, we have another rendering of a buried BQE from dLandstudio, which was part of a BQE Trench Study. If we get enough renderings, maybe it will just go away.
