Because HORRIBLE MIDTOWN DISASTERS come in pairs nowadays, the falling debris at the Bank of America tower today has been joined by a small roof fire at the Time-Life building at 1271 Sixth Avenue. Says a source: No evac, but floors 8-48 or something don't have elevator service and they keep making kinda frantic announcements. No one cares except for the fire marshal making the announcements." UPDATE: "The condition on the 48th floor has been corrected." [CurbedWire Staff]
