Goodbye NYC Waterfalls. To be fair, there are people that thought they sucked and that thought they were cool. (Remember the hope on opening day?) And, then, there was the whole business about how the salt spray was killing trees and the demands they be shut down early, which resulted in the hours being cut in a bizarre way. Well, if you want to see a waterfall, get out there right now. They're being turned off today. Us, we'll never forget seeing them in a tempest on Governor's Island. Thanks for trying, Olafur.
