Yeah, politics isn't our thing, but it turns out the gun lobby has a charter member in Greenpoint and he/she is proclaiming his/her love for John McCain and Sarah Palin, making this a neighborhood item. The gun lover comes from Greenpoint’s “Park Avenue” (McGuinness Boulevard). The dude who shot the pics wrote that his dogs wanted to take a dump on the lawn in question, but "I was afraid they’d get shot. I call this 'Shoot First; Figure Out How To Run The Country Later'."
